I first tried Honest 1 because I got $50’off my deductible with my extended coverage plan there. At first, I was a little skeptical just because of the name. You know, like how the name “Honest John’s Used Cars” would make you cringe? Anyway, we had an issue with the heat in our Jeep. Honest 1 did a great job communicating with the warranty company. Problem fixed. But then, it wasn’t. And it wasn’t because Honest 1 didn’t try to track down the issue. They analyzed the most likely cause of the issue and addressed it. Turns out, they weren’t wrong, but there was a bigger issue. So, they fixed that. And all was well. Until later a few weeks, when it wasn’t. Brought it back, did a deep dive into the issue, and discovered why the problem was persisting. Finally got to the root of the issue. Dealt with. Warranty paid the expensive parts. I was only out a couple hundred for things not covered. But here’s why I’m giving them 5 stars: customer service. The entire time they were handling the issue, they kept me updated. Brought me into the shop to show me what’s going on. Presented options to me. Really made sure I understood what was going on, why, etc. I highly recommend Ralph, Sarah, Travis, and all of the crew at Honest 1. Next time I’m looking to buy a used car, I’m taking it there for them to give a general look-over.
